One of our favorite elements of Charles Pachter's oeuvre are his fantastic line drawings featuring both his circle of friends and commissioned portraits.

City and Country Home Magazine featured Pachter's portraits of notable Canadian from 1988-1991.

However, Pachter was sketching throughout the decade. This lovely drawing is an exceptional example of his mastery as a draftsman. 

Many of these drawings were never exhibited - as they are often outside the themes that Pachter is most known for. Nevertheless they are remarkably well-executed and demonstrate the artist's versatility and charm.
